This is my first official post on my new blog. Don’t expect anything from me, in fact, you probably shouldn’t read this if you want to stay sane.
Ok, so I grew up in Nebraska. Rolling plains, corn and grains. But since I have been married to a military man and moved 6 times, sometimes I forget about the simplicity and familiarity of the country. Here is my tribute to the Nebraska way of life:
Oh those young country kids and their dreams of agriculture.
A beautiful sight to a native Nebraskan
This just says it all.
I also remember the fantastic meat. Great big juicy steaks. On Saturday you couldn’t find any of your friends in town because they were all at the game. During off season you would find them hanging out in front of Dairy Queen.
No wonder they call it the good life. . .

thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Yep I know your sister (via blogland) she is on my blogroll!
I once lived in Nebraska…it was ok, I guess….actually I do have some great memories there! I am more of a northwest mountain kind of girl! We are military too and are headed to Alaska this summer, which is perfect for us!!!
