I finally had the time to edit and collect the pictures of our owl lapbooks!
The girls had so much fun with this study. We read Poppy by Avi for a book discussion group at the library. We had already studies mice and rats from reading The Tale of Despereaux and making lapbooks for it. (pics of those up next on my list)
So, for this book, we concentrated on owls. Most of our research was done online, with virtual pellet dissection and listening and watching owls. We also checked out books from the library.
