The Shack makes a good read but sadly like the Da Vinci Code has nothing christian to it. The Shack is but just a tip of the iceberg of books yet to come. Another good arctic book to consider is Arctic Tundra, part of the One Small Square series by Donald Silver. It talks about the differences in the same area between winter and summer. My son has several in this set and really enjoys them. There’s even simple experiment ideas to go along with topics.
